Dear Parents,
As you are aware, the CDC has shortened the the recommended time for isolation for the public. People with COVID-19 should isolate themselves for five days and can later surround themselves with others only if they are asymptomatic or their symptoms are resolving, such as without fever for twenty-four hours. Additionally, people should continue to wear a facial mask when around others to minimize the risk of spreading the virus.
In an effort to mitigate the spread of Covid, our district returned to remote instruction which ended yesterday. After careful consideration and my belief in erring on the side of caution, we will return to remote instruction beginning on Wednesday, January 19. Students will return to in-person instruction on Monday, Jan. 24. To mitigate the spread of Covid, the district has ordered extra testing kits for students and staff in an effort to deter the spread of Covid.
Please note that lunches will be delivered to our students and students will be expected to complete school assignments from their teachers. Please encourage our students to complete assignments.
