Dear Cairo School District #1 Parents,

This is Dr. Patrick Rice, Superintendent of Cairo School District #1. Parents and guardians, school will officially begin for students on Monday, August 15. We are excited about serving your child and we believe this year will be our best year ever. 

Please make a note that students are no longer required to wear school uniforms although there is a dress code that will be enforced. Please review your child's student handbook for dress code information and other important information. 

We look forward to partnering with you this school year and meeting the needs of your child.
