On November 16, 2023, fifteen 7th and 8th grade students participated in the Southern Illinois University-Carbondale Aviation Tour at the Southern Illinois University Airport in Murphysboro, IL.

Candidates were selected on the basis of academic achievement and the ceremony highlighted the elements of the National Beta Club including character, leadership, service, and achievement. Beta Club officers lit candles for each of those elements.

Cairo High School Beta Club hosted an American Red Cross Blood Drive on November 30, 2023. Cairo High School Beta Club and American Red Cross thanks all who donated and made the blood drive a success.

They researched and compared the living cost and expenses of attending a college of choice. The students were actively engaged during the exploring activities. Students participated in mock interviews to learn how to promote themselves professionally. They also were provided beneficial information from the One Goal team and our guest speakers in specific areas of choice.
