The Cairo High School Beta Club & the Cairo Jr. High School Beta Club recently conducted a group service project on September 13, 2023 to begin the 2023-2024 school year.

Cairo Unit School District #1 has implemented a service learning program for all students in grades 10-12. Students will be placed at several community businesses to perform 20 service learning hours in the Fall and 20 service learnings hours next Spring. For a total of 40 hours for the year. Students will be paid $150 for completing their Fall hours and then be paid another $150 when their hours are completed next Spring. We encourage all students to sign up for the program immediately with Ms. Rashata Cross at the District Office. The deadline to sign up is Friday, September 15th. Thank you.

* Be on time each day!
