Cairo, IL – Cairo School District #1 is proud to announce that Cairo Jr./Sr. High School is a 2022-2023 National Beta School of Distinction. The school earned this recognition by increasing their club’s membership by at least 10% from last year.

All grades. Pre-K, K-12

Pre-K, Kindergarten, 6th, & 9th Grades MUST have proof of completed physical in order to register.

Chromebooks will also be given out to students on these dates, to grades 1 through 12. Please note that if your child was assigned a Chromebook last year and it was not turned in at the end of last year, then your child will not receive another one, as they already have one.

Conference starts @ 5PM - August 4th and concludes @ 7AM - August 5th, at Shawnee Community College.

Main Fee: $20 NON-REFUNDABLE

Tuesday July 25, 2023, Community Health and Emergency Services Inc. will be hosting a Back-to-School Physical Fair at the Cairo Mega Clinic from 9am-4pm to provide school and sports physicals, dental exams, and vaccinations.
No appointments are needed to receive services. Free backpacks and school supplies will be provided to students with a physical while supplies lasts.
Food and soft drinks will be served. Bounce houses as well as other fun activities will be available to students.
